Has anyone had to move or delete a vendor and "withdrawn" all of the items and then forgotten to retrieve them from the stockroom before deleting the vendor? I did - ouch - I felt like a complete idiot not to mention the 200k of stock I blew away. Then I got kindathinkingabout the generic message you get when you delete a vendor - how hard would it be to actually tell you that you have items on the vendor and do you still want to delete ? rather than the generic warning that I am so used to ignoring because I NEVER make that kind of mistake LOL

I only say this because I've done many many many stupid things myself and each time they put a check in to keep me from being an idiot, I can pretty quickly become more of an idiot than they've imagined

I swear one of the warning messages now is aimed directly at me after I accidentially deleted two vendors in the span of a week and a half trying to cycle the adbarking.

Absolutely! And there needs to be a way to deal with customer offers that remain on the vendor (whether they have just not been accepted yet, or they've been rejected and the customer hasn't picked them up yet).

LOL! I'm sorry for your loss, but have to laugh at the 'just watch me I can so be a bigger idiot' remarks. Hee hee. Anyway... it would be nice if the vendor was not destroyable until it was truly empty. Such as put an empty vendor button on it like harvesters have an empty button.

Wow...the "Empty Vendor" button is a great idea!

However: I would use it, forget that I can only hold so much on my person, destroy the vendor, and the wonder where the hell the other 200 of 260 items have gone.

Umm, yeah, that sucks and all...but I came in here because the thread title is self-abuse, and, uhhh, I feel cheated now. Tell a funnier, more embarrassing, and disgusting story or something.
