Im relatively new to this arena, but merchant XP is painfully slow to collect.

Im on Tempest one of the smaller and newer severs and foot traffic throughout the week is just no sufficent to increase my xp through visitation of my vendors.

Im on Management 2 all i have been able to achieve in over 2 weeks, there has to be some change in the pipe that will base xp, on god forbid SALES?

Going utterly insane, this passive xp crawl is perhaps my most dire profession yet, is there hope in sight?>

it took me less then a week to raise 4 boxes in 1 tree, but then I have an established shop on a busy server. But to be honest, imhomerchant xp is as easy to get as any of the other xp's in game (which is to say waaay to easy).

This is my 15th or 16th mastery I forget which and tbh this has been the bitch so far apart from BH investigation and SQL xp which became insane after the patch which then became pants after another patch.

But i agree with your premise, on the whole is far to easy to obtain.

But then I cant see the rewards associated with the Merchant profession warrenting this crawl, do I get to spam eye shot at mastery?
