Ok, I think we've all seen that if you resell an item in your stockroom currently, it lists out only as a 7 day sale (you can click details on an item to see number of days left). So I retrieved the item, and attemped to sell it from inventory.

30 days, as expected, good!

Now, I withdrew the item to send it to the stockroom, and then sold the item from the stockroom.

7 days.

So it is NOT tied to reselling or using new items, it's a bug with the stockroom 'sell' button. That button gives items 7 days, rather than 30, regardless. Was this bug reported on test, and just slipped through? There were so few merchant changes, I can't believe the 30 day timer wasn't tested thoroughly. I noticed it in the first few minutes of play.Did they mention if they'd fix it sometime after patch?

Just tried a brand new vendor and didn't have the issue. Going to be a pain to restart my vendors but a small price for 30 days of listing!

I unlisted to the stockroom and relisted and it stayed at 30 days. Can anyone else confirm that this fixed the problem for them?

Omg, if that's the fix...I'll cry. I'll believe it, but I'll cry. Seems to be the fix for every single vendor issue of the past, why not once again.

500+ items to move if this work. Sigh...don't they ever, ever test existing vendors? Or does everyone on TC just recreate their vendors every week?

Sadly, it does not fix the issue. I created a brand new vendor just now. Created a brand new item. Placed it on the vendor for 1k. 30 days on the details for the listing, only item on the vendor. Withdrew the item, and clicked stockroom. Sold the item from the stockroom for 1k. Clicked over and checked its details. 7 days left on sale.

Perhaps it works in some situations, but I'd triple verify it before you even consider shifting items from an old to new vendor, especially if you have large quantities. It certainly did not work for me, the 7 days still occurs on the stockroom sale button.

On the plus side, the new vendor I created was a female human, and she had hair!

Just tried it again, and my bad, it didn't fix it. I must have neglected to hit the refresh key before checking the date on the items of that type.
