I am new merchant - I think I found my calling...

I have a few questions after seeing some amazing stores around my galaxy (Kettemoor)

1. How do you place an item on top of a table surface??

2. How do you place things on the wall that normally drop on the floor (i.e. guns, armor pieces, clothes)?

3. Is there anything that provides good indoor light besides the torch?

That's it...and, if you haven't seen it...visit Tiffany's of Naboo (N of Theed)! A beautiful store.

To put items on things or on the wall (that usually fall on the floor) you need a house with stairs. The stairs have to be in the same room that you want to put the item. Walk up/down the stairs to the level you want to put the item (each step is the 'floor'), drop the item then /movefurniture or /rotatefurniture 'til the cows come home.

As for light, torch is the only thing right now (that I know of)

check around this and the architect forum, several postings about this and some links great interior designs.

Btw, it's been admitted by the devs that the house decoration system is terrible and they say that they are working on making is not as much of a nightmare as it is now...although house arrangements will be much less impressive after they do this since some of the super-cool designs are that much cooler because of how long they obviously took.

Thanks to everyone who posted! That makes it all the more important to buy a prettier store.

One the note of other great interior design info on the site...hopefully, I am not that dense but, I don't see anyway to do a keyword search of the forums...I would love to see that as I don't check posts every day.

Not intentionally, but the new streetlights that came out with the city patch are placable inside player buildings. They turn on and off automaticaly with the sunrise and sunset, though.
