Im getting the exact same probelm. I just got to business 3 , placed the vendor and this happened. I destroyed the vendor and tried again about 5-6 times before giving up. What the?

Same thing here, trying the bulky vendor and the robo bartender one. When I did get the first one to work it stopped working the next day and was giving people the "not initialized" message.

I have one working now but I had lots of other bizarre things happen like a rollback while online that made my vendor disappear and then a rollforward that made it come back....lots of weird stuff.

All I can suggest is keep trying and eventually you'll get one that works. I also live in a player city and am wondering if this problem is limited to city citizens or if it is happening to everyone.

I'm a master merchant, and at the moment for me, only NPC vendors work.

I just managed to get my bulky vending machine to work. After naming it I ran to the spot where I wanted it, dropped it, rotated it, then initialized it within 10 seconds. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but worth a try eh? Although from what I've heard it probably won't work for long.

I am getting the same thing on gorath, I live in a player city, kinda. The house is like half and half. The house was there befor the city was placed.

Im seriously getting steamed also.

When player cities came out we moved from Naboo to dantooine. I emptied my three vendors made 5 trips (had alot of items) and setup shop in our new city on Dantooine. You can imagine my suprise when I couldn't put a vendor back down. After screwing with it for the last 2 days I finally got one to initialize. Im my utter amazement I load my vedor back up with my items and went on my merry way. I came back this morning and my fricking vendor was gone... With 2 of my Krayt FWG5s no less...

Can we please get this fixed or atleast have a dav acknowlege they know about this cause right now it seems noone gives a flying f@#!

This is happening to my bulky business 3 vendor also.. not Initialized.

I was just about to place my very first vendor today when this arose.


This house that I'm putting the droid in is NOT in a player city. It's outside the city limits so that can not be it.

Tried Bulky Terminal and Bartender Droid, the only ones I've got so far.




Hmmm... how do I now get merchant experience if I can't even place a vendor??

I had a CSR email me and tell me this is a "Terminal" Vendor problem only, and that NPC vendor's work fine.

I'm running into a bug and its really getting me steamed! Ever since I got buisness1, I have had trouble getting my vendor to work. I live in a player city on Coranet, and until my crafting skills are up to where I can have real goods to sell, the guild has let me run the storage house and run my vendor there. Anyway, I make my vendor (bulky terminal), I place it, Rotate (it always drops facing the wall!), Initialize it, and drop 1k creds into maintainence. I then try to use it...

Vendor not Initialized!

What the heck? I tried this 10 times... I cant get the **edit** thing to work! Now, one time, on a freak incident, it worked, I was happy! But at this point I was naming it things like Broke-Ass Vendor, which isnt appropriate... So i remade it, tried the exact same spot.

Grr... I dunno what to do, and the GMs seems to ahve taken an extended vacation and havnt responded in 3 days.

Same problem............Nothing worked for me except the Big Ugly one LOL.......

In my nice house I have the machine that doesn't give XP when I'm not around and Doesn't work when I am??????????

My protocal droids don't work.

Finally got mine to work. I tried one of the suggestions somebody had mentioned in this forum. (sorry, don't remember name) I placed the vendor (bartender droid) and initialized twice before anything else. Then double clicked the vendor and it worked.
