i loaded up my vendors on naboo with a ton of maint. and left for endor for a week. when i got back to naboo after my trip to endor i hit ctrl v, and guess what, my vendors were not listed on the planet map. so i ran back to my store and checked the maintenance. i was all paid up still for another 3 weeks. then i checked the map again and my vendorssuddenlyappeared on the list. i experimented with this for a couple days and have come to the conclusion that i think someone has to actually enter ur store for ur vendor to pop upon the list. This is of course outrageous since advertising is supposed to make people come to ur store in the first place. and this defeats the whole purpose of the bug fix since it still requires u to go back to ur store and let ur vendors spawn. especially if u want to take a week excursion to lok or dantooine. so we're actually right back where we started. great job devs.
