Thread: Thanks for the hair
I've been a dedicated, full-time master tailor and merchant for 2 or 3 months now and just wanted to thank everyone for the merchant efforts here.At one point I ignored this account but now it is looking a lot better.
As a merchant/tailor I really try to rotate my vendors' looks. Thank you so much for adding hair though! I'm saving a bundle on hats - hehe.
All said, I really must point out that the randomness of /createvendor is annoying. It takes me hours to find a random generation that I can live with and I have never got a roll that was "perfect" - especially since the hair is no random. (Refering to humans here).
Is there a way that some level of imagedesigner or merchant could tweak some basic (or advanced) NPC characteristics instead of just praying for the right randomized one?
This is not horribly important but I did not see it addressed elsewhere and would prefer that dev efforts remain on the higher priorities. If this can get added to the list, however, my /createvendor misery would be lifted.
Thanks for the efforts here - we are truly shaping up this very important profession.
I agree with the ID plan. I've spent over an hour to get the right species and look for the vendor I wanted. Now that I've attained all the xp I plan on for Merchant, I can cut down some of my vendors so it won't take as long when I decide to move them around. It would still be a nice touch though.
Also has anybody else noticed that quite often the vendors seem to be rather...errr...large in the buttocks? I mean, they're standing there all day, you'd think their leg muscles would eventually start to tone up. Hmmm, just had a thought...maybe they're raiding the snack barwhile I'm away on business. That would explain why they're never there when I run into the shop. We need a new type of vendor...Foreman. Keeps them in line when the boss is away.
