Okay, I Mastered Weaponsmith PRE-CU. I also dabbled in Rifleman, I decided that I'd rather be a full Weaponsmith and I'd respec the points I had in Rifles to Merchant. Which are the hardest Merchant trees to obtain? Which are the most valuable? Someone suggest X/4/X/4 But I'm not entirely sure what the pros/cons of each tree are?

3xx4 will get you the most vendors and planetary advertising. Anything else is optional.

Thank you both for the very quick responses. I don't want to be annoying with all of these basic questions, but I stopped playing almost right after I hit Master Weaponsmith. I grinded it out with bought resources. I'd like to ask one more question about Extractors if you don't mind...

I've heard different stories, some people like a large ammount of Personal, others like the Heavy. Which is the better harvester for gathering needed resources? Alot of personals or a few Heavys?

The only difference between harvesters is their maintenance/power requirement and the amount of materials they can harvest.

Always go with the biggest you can afford.
There has been some research somewhere around here that says BER 10 mediums give the best overall value based on cost of operation vs resources harvested.

BER 10 mediums are the best ecnomicially. The downside to using them instead of large BER 13's is the storage capacity is lower so you have to make more frequent trips to unload them. However there is no denying that it is cheaper per unit to harvest with the Mediums.

If however you are low on lots (I have only 6 for instance) every ber on every lot is important. The ber 10s will get you the cheapest per unit resources but the BER 13s get you the most from the spawn since the spawn time is limited.
