Thread: Maintenance fees are wacky

I didn't see this posted and search isn't working for me so excuse me if this has been posted elsewhere.

I have a weird issue going on.

I have 2 standard terminal vendors and they each are showing different maintenance fees. I recently dropped to Novice Merchant (on my way to giving it up completely), and my older, established vendor is listed at 21 credits, and my newer vendor dropped today is listed at 15 credits.

I had my older vendor registered on the map, but unregistered it before I dropped the skills.

Is anyone else seeing this or know what's going on?

Well, I'm better than dirt! Well, most kinds of dirt.
I mean, not that fancy store-bought dirt.
That stuff's loaded with nutrients. I can't compete with that stuff.

Try dropping a credit or two into the 21 cph vendor and see if that updates the maintenance rate.

21 credits per hour sounds right for a planetary-registered vendor, but turning off the registration may not have gotten reflected in it's properties. Also, do you have either (or both) vendors registered for galaxy-wide search? I think that has an increased maintenance cost associated with it too. I can't remember if the default setting on new vendors is to be flagged for search or not.

Uh huh... that's, um, extremely helpful.

Anyway, if anyone else is experiencing this, I'd love to know. Thanks all!

We think alike -- I tried dropping in a few credits yesterday AM and checked it this AM. No change.

They are both set up for galaxy-wide search.

I'm guessing you're right about the registration on the planetary map not being updated. I did unregister it, but now I don't have the points to try registering it and unregistering it again.

Oh well - I'll live. But, I forgot to check whether it's showing on the map. If it isn't, I'll submit a ticket.

Thanks for the help!
