i just got novice merchant.
i want to buy my own merchant tent or possibly my own mall but i dont know where to look. Can anyone give me some ideas? I'm on Corbantis.
Also, will i be able to set up a tent or a mall at the novice merchant level? If not, is it possilble to set up my vendor in somone else's building and have them register me on the planetary map, since i dont have the skill yet?

Look around for architects on your server than can sell or make you one of them.
You will need Merchant Efficiency 4 to place a tent.

I suggest reading Doc's guide to the merchant profession that's stickied at the top of this forum. It will answer the vast majority of questions you have about being a merchant.

My advice...Same as Elyssa, read the guides. In the meantime, use swg.craft.com to find spawns of the best resources at any given time, and set up harvesters (BR13's if possible). That way, you can start to amass the incredible amounts of materials your going to need for crafting, and you can sell some of it for extra $$$
