Thread: Regarding Merchant Tent, vendor, and surrendering Merhcant skills

Very new to Merchant and thank all that can help with these questions


Bsically, I want to reach Master Merchant but as quick as I get there I wish to remove it.


My goal is to have the Merchant Tent and a great looking vendors with all the bells and whistles.


I have read that you can have a max at 6 vendors and also have read that some have lost vendors but its was debated whether it was lost of skill or 14 days of inactivity.


So I guess what I need to know is that if I make a tent with 6 vendors all doctored up and stocked, keep them active (someone looks at them every 13 days or less) and decide to remove Merchant completely, what will I expect to lose? (Will keep Master Artisan)

The merchant tent will be fine. You only have to have the skill to place the tent. Once it is up you can operate it without any specific skill.

The merchant skills are a different story. First of all I don't know where you get the 6 vendor number. Master merchants can have 12 Vendors and 4000 items.

If you drop down to Master Artisan all of your vendors will stop allowing you to add sales to them until you get back to the limit tht you have which will be 2 vendors and 250 items. Anything above that will make all vendors stop allowing you to put stuff up for sale.

And even without the search btw there is a guide stickied at the top of this forum which has this information in it.
