Hi im new to harvesting. i have my self a personal mineral extractor. i just started harvesting my first mineral. it is class 4 radioactive.. i know its not class 7. but its a start. i need to make some cash and was woundering what a good price per unit is. i have no idea what what minerals go for and thanks for any help. oh. and energy generators. i know wind power takes a wind survey device. but what about fusion generators and the other power gen. what survey devices do they use. tahnks again for your help.

It depends on the PE of the Radio active....

I have seen PE 900+ go for over 10 CPU

but generally you need to stay 3-5 CPU range.

It take a mineral surveying tool to find radioactive.

Also, always keep on eye on both your galaxy trade forums and your galaxy's forums to see what's worth what. It also doesn't hurt to take a trip to your competition's vendors, and listen to some of the starport spam to get an idea on who's charging how much for what. Also, ask around. Go up to a crafter in a cantina and flat out ask him.

Unless you're selling onthe bazaar, radioactive is something that people tend to onlybuy in bulk quantities -like 100k units, if not more,bulk.I've seen some vendors who have millions and millions of radioactive sell itfor about 1.5 - 2cpu.

People won't pay a lof money for it because it'sprimary use is to power other harvestors.

My advice would be check this place www.swgcraft.com, checkthe current resources for whatever server you play on,and which currentlyhave the best stats, then go mine it. Or if you're just selling on the bazaar -go mine any steel and you're guaranteed 3cpu for it.
