Mos Vegas (on SHADOWFIRE) has recently expanded and remodeld it's Commerce sector. Our latest improvements have paved the way for advancements we feel will greatly benefit the customers who visit our merchants and also place our vendors product in front of more people.
Q: What is one of the,if not the biggest, complaints customers have?
A: Trying to locate a vendor in major cities, let alone across the galaxy.
A: Trying to locate a vendor in major cities, let alone across the galaxy.
Too many times I hear "I can't locate X vendor in the city I am." or "Anyone know where a vendor is that sells pets?" Sure, you can use the Vendor list available on each planet, but that's only if the merchant has registered it and or has the skills to do so.
Q: So how does Mos Vegas handle this?
A: By carefully organizing the vendors by trade. Say your looking for a Pet, we have a shopdedicated to Pets, Medical Supplies and Bio-Engineer Products. Each of our shops are arranged so that vendors who are selling Pets are located in one area of the shop, meds in the other, and bio-engineers in the next. So, when our customers visits the Mos Vegas Pet shop, they conveniently have several Pet Vendors in one spot to buy from.

Q: How many shops/vendors are in the Mos Vegas Commerce Sector?
A: There are currently 6 main Shops and 3 tents. There is room for some tent expansion and one or two Shop Expansion. We are currently planning 20 vendors per shop, so you are looking at about 120 vendors, not counting tents, at the Shuttle area which is the center of our Commerce Sector.

Q: What restrictions do you have on vendors and becoming a vendor in Mos Vegas?
A: We will carefully screen all Vendors before we accept them into our shops. Screening may be something as simple as someone else's word or a visit to one or more of their vendors to verify they are a quality merchant. Last thing we want is to fill our shops with fly-by-night vendors. Also, we strictly do not allow Ad Barking and request to keep your inventory as stocked as much as feasable.

Q: How does a Merchant get a Tent?
A: Tents are reserved for the power seller merchants. Those Merchants who have demonstrated to the community that they are here to stay and have a loyal customer base.

Q: What about Vendors and Shops not in the Commerce Sector?
A: There are many shops, and we encourage more, outside the Commerce Sector. This only increases and enhances the number of places our customers can choose from. Being in the commerce sector does increase the chances of selling your product, but being outside it allows greater felxibilty for the Merchants who want to control their shops designs etc. We would love to have both,
Q: What are some of the major differences a Merchant in the Mos Vegas Commerce sector will encounter versus other Cities.
A: Only 2 differences we can see 1) The name of your business will not be on the outside of the shop 2) Your product will be in the same shop along with several other vendors of the same type.

However, we feel the benefits of our system far out weigh these two differences. Customers are already beginning to notice our new plan, and have expressed where they will be shopping in the future.
Q: Who should a Merchant contact to learn more and or become a vendor in any of the shops?
A: Contact Ikoo if you are interested in placing a vendor. For general information regarding our Commerce Sector you can contact Ikoo and Gruelokk.

sounds awesome but I'm not on your server. Try your server forum as well. Sounds cool though. Why is there a mos vegas on every server?

I am a Master Merchant who is looking for good locations to set up a Tent. I plan on renting out space to Crafters who do not want the hassle of dealing with tents and vendors. Also, I buy wholesale from crafters and sell them. Anyone who rents from me must keep stock on vendors and i try to never let a vendor stand empty ( I have never had a vendor empty as of yet). Please contact me either through the boards on in game if you are interested in having a true merchant in your town.

I posted your post in your server trade forum where it should be posted.
Maybe a small hint as to where you should post this stuff in the future.
Thanks

wow - thanks Thornstar slamming me on a mistakeI made
And actually, I posted this on my Shadowfire Forum. Not real sure why you sent it to the Trade Forums. Makes less sense to post it there than here. I am looking for merchants you know. But as for future reference, I will not post anything regarding Shadowfire here.
However, I resign to knowing I goofed.
Thanks again for linking my post to the Trade Forums even though I do feel 'capable' of knowing I offended a rule.
