Hi
Just wondering if anyone knew if using really high quality radioactive power is better than using 500 OQ solar or wind power when powering up our harvestors or factories?
Has this been discussed? and if so please let me in on the secret Lol ??

The OQ doesn't matter. The PE is the important stat for power.

the higher the pe the more energy it has....
solar/wind is CRAP...just use radioactive...you shouldnt buy anything under 900.....800 min...you can buy radiactive at 1.5-2 cpu...so say you buy 100K 900 PE, you will actually have like 200K energy....if it was 100K of 500 PE it would only be 100K of energy...

What they said ![]()
Higher PE = more power units per resource point.
Higher OQ = useless for fuel purposes

The formulae is as follows
(PE/500) * Number of Physical Units = Number of Energy Units available to power a factory or harvester.
If the PE is LESS than 500 then the equation will treat it as 500 and you will get 1 unit of energy per physical unit.
Examples for 10,000 physical units.
PE=400 then (400/500) defaults to (500/500)* 10,000= 10,000 Energy Units (EU)
PE=600 then (600/500)* 10,000= 12,000 EU
PE=999 then (999/500)* 10,000= 19,980 EU (We had a PE999 Rad on Valcyn- Gege from memory- has anyone seen the magical 1,000?)
On Valcyn we have a lot of power sellers selling based on 1 credit per Energy unit (gets advertised as 1cpEu) and so for the 10k boxes above, you'd see the EU values as the price in the vendor.
