Thread: Okay why won't my vendors give me xp for having them...

Okay,


Yes I'm grinding merchant becuase I'm a master chef and want to get master merchant to be able to sell all my good yummy food...


My problem is that I'm not getting any xp for having 6 vendors utilized, See I'm crafting right now and am able to keep track of the xp I'm getting from merchant so I have been able to confirm that I'm not getting the 900xp per hour for my 6 vendors...if anyone can help me with this issue I would greatly apprecate it.

The XP monitor often bugs and doesn't show the xp you're getting, that just requires diconnecting and reconnecting to sort.


If you've already done that then it's possibly something I read about here. Someone recommended that until you no longer need merchant xp to keep all your stuff in one vendor in case this happens. i assume therefore you have to remove and reinstall your vendors to start getting xp again. But don't quote me on that, just a guess)

Okay,


I tried the disconnect reconnect theory and it didn't happen but as soon as I destory the vendor and created a new on all the xp in them drop onto my xpmonitor....now that is a really crappy bug!!!

Don't be so hasty....my first vendor as soon as i destroyed it gave me xp but then the second one didn't....Why is it that it take so long to get merchant but yet everything is so bugged that within 4-6 month I'll probably have it mastered..... this is bothersome if anyone knows why it is happening please post reply for these vendors owe me about 50,000xp sofar.


BTW...I am in the process of writing a ticket....

If your XP monitor hasn't updated for a while, and you have an idea of how much XP is owing (150 per vendor per hour), go and open one of your vendors and let it load up the sale screen. Leave it open for 30 seconds-1 minute and the XP should update.

This is the rumor I heard...


You need someone to open your vendor and hit the 'refresh' button or hit the "All" option for sales. That will give you a 'dump' of the experience your vendors have been collecting. So, if you do it and you don't see a jump in your experience, ask a friend to do it.

Update on the vendor problem....after trying everything the vendors, being stingie, have decide to picket me and will not give me the exp I should get from them...total exp lost 64800...

Update....


Vendors are still on strike and now they want a pay raise...WTH lol...


on a serious note tried the buddie hit vendor refreash and then all setup at first thought it was going good becuase I got the 50 xp when he hit the vendor but then nothing happened. So I log off thing the xp monitor was broke and came back. Still nothing. So then I went to the trainer thinking maybe its there but then again still nothing. Current vendor utilized exp lost 75600 xp.

One major thing to check is your vendor maintenance. I know that I let my vendor's maint. run out and I noticed I was getting zero xp. Once I added maint., the xp would accumulate at a good rate.

Okay update....day 4 is here and with my last ticket being closed by a CSR without the problem being fixed. Wrote a second ticket and it still hasn't been answered and its been like like 10 hours. If someone is montoring these posts please help...Total xp lost 86400.

Update...end of the 4th day...CSR has answered my new ticket and has told me that they do not track xp and thus can't give me the xp owed. Also something to be aware of for those that has empty vendors and are using them for xp...you MUST babysit them to get the xp owed to you from them.


I am still fighting the good fight though for this xp...and have now esculate this to a CSR supervisor so that he can hopefully help me out.

I just refreshed my vendor and added about 70 items and got 6k XP (approx.) I was getting worried myself. Not sure why this occured. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
