In game type /note to open the notepad.

Type the text you want to appear on the sign using ENTER for line breaks then copy and paste the text into the set name box.

If you want to make use of colour it is easier to do it in notepad outside of game and copy and paste into game. You can use the example in the lesson below

Press Ctrl and O to bring up the options
Select CONTROLS on the left, then click on the KEYMAP at the bottom
This brings up a keymap window for you to configure the keys
Select CHAT tab
Then scroll down until you see chat edit copy, chat edit cut, and chat edit paste
Press the chat edit copy and then the rebind button
Press ctrl, shift and c when prompted
Next the chat edit cut, use ctrl, shift and x
Next the chat edit paste, use ctrl, shift and v
click on OK
Now as a test, copy something from your chat, and paste it into an e-mail using ctrl, shift and v
To copy from an e-mail, you have to click on reply or forward first so you can select the text, no need to actually reply/forward though.
