How long do items stay on your vendor before the "auction" is "unsuccessful" ? And am I the only one who HATES this? It wouldn't be that big of a deal, if I only had one vendor, but I have six ...and plenty of other stuff to do, like restock with new stuff.

Just wondering...

30 days which is a long time. And it is done to prevent crap from staying on the server and slowing it down, if every item ever put up for sale stayed up we would have so much lag that you would get 1 fps in the middle of the desert. And stocking is part of being a Merchant adn if something isn't selling then you might want to check your prices or the demand marke for that item.

I recently had to restock about 75 items that had expired on the same day. It is a pain but the fix is to make the interface easier to stock. If you could highlight a group of items and put them back on sale for their original price without any other clicks that would make this eaiser. Putting multiple items up for the same price would be nice too.

Ultimately if you have to resell a specific item more than once you probably need to reprice it since it is obvously not all that desirable at the price you are selling it for. If you are overpricing it knowing it won't sell to keep it in storage then shame on you for misusing the vendor for a storage bin

Wondering if there's any way to make a field appear to show the time remaining on the item, something like the bazaar. I stock sliced weapons and i do so rather often and i price according to the slice. The effect of this is that sometimes the new stuff of the same item (say batch 2 of scouts) sells out before the previous batch (batch 1 of the scouts). A number of batch 1 sometimes falls into the storage cos i was too lazy to click on every single item to check how much time was remaining. This resulted in a huge amount of pain for me the first time it happened as i had to rexamine the slice of the weapon in order to reprice it again.

since then, what i've done is tha on a weekly basis i've examined EVERY SINGLE of the 1000 or so sliced items i put up and remove and restock any thing that's less than 14 days remaining. i figured that this moderate tedium would save me the pain of reexamining slices. This problem would be eliminated simply by being able to see at a glance how much time is remaining on each item, a la the bazaar. (that rhymes) Frankly i don't see the use of the other field such as "location". I'm here. I know i'm here.

Or is there a way to make that "time remaining" field appear and i've just been an utter berk and not known. If so it would actually be great! =)

No. Currently the only way is to click on each item to check the dates.
