Thread: signage text truncation??

i tried planting a tent and naming it using text from my notepad.
i wanted to make a sign with multiple lines in it using notepad.
but all i could ever get was half or more of my text after i named the tent.
i tried reading the FAQ and have seen other merchants do it.
what could i be doing wrong?

possibly too many characters.
also, if you are using the in game notepad to copy and paste, when you click at the end of the last row to highlight, make sure that is where the cursor is. I often insert a blank line at the end to make sure i actually highlight all the text. Sometimes it looks like it is all highlighted but the cusor is actually sitting halfway through the line above,
