ok I know this has been answered several times here but I am still confused. To get the xp of placing vendors in your house, does somebody need to be there for the xp to count? I know that if I have 2 vendors in my house I should get 300 xp per hour, but does that mean the vendors have to be in sight of somebody to get the xp? Or will I get the xp regaurdless. Please help if you can, I just got merchant as my next holo and it is different than anything else I have done, so I am a bit confused. Thanks for your help!!!

If the vendor is loaded (as in, you, or someone else, is in the house with it), then you will see yourself get 150XP/hr.
If the vendor isn't loaded, it will remember how long it was unloaded for and as soon as someone walks into the house (the vendor loads) it will give you 150XP per hour that it was unloaded for.
Its sometimes funny to run into one of my remote merchant tents that hasn't been used in awhile and get dumped with a heap of merchant XP.

You need someone in the house or tent to get the hourly xp?

No you don't. You get 150 exp/hour.
However, your merchant experience will not "update" until someone is in the same room with your vendor.
