Thread: Noob merchant with Questions (I read the guide)
I read the guide and still have a few questions if anyone would mind answering them, and yes, I did do a search.
If I have 3 houses placed with a 1 credit entrance fee, and each house has a vendor, I'm offline, and a person goes into each house and browses each vendor ... all within the same 15 minute time period.. how much experience would I actuallygain, since the vendors are in seperate houses, or is it per person viewing..
ie: once a person views my vendor.. they can go into another of my houses and view a different vendor but I would gain nothing cept the entrance exp since that person already contributed to the vendor exp less than 5 mins ago.. (this is what I THINK happens). I'm at work and can't test it atm.

I should be able to register the same vendor under any and all vendor types then on the Global Map...

Well there you have one reason you have multiple vendors global advertising only hase one category per vendor.
Another would be multiple locations...or maybe you want different vendors for different lines of merchandise.
You might THINK entrance fees are a great way to get xp. I would suggest rather that fees make 50% or more of your customers not return, which means you get less.
Location, location, location
something to buy that people actually WANT
a pleasant environment for customers to enjoy, camp out in, heal in, call pets in or otherwise enjoy themselves
Those are the keys to getting fast merchant xp and nothing else will ever come close to beating that combo (other than getting your friends to hang out at you shop(s) and keep browsing).
