Thread: Thoughts on what happens next

I've been a master merchant for a few months but I'm new to the forums so forgive me if I'm rehashing old news.


First off I was wondering if there was an official announcement on the vendor cap issue? It was my opinion that 150 items was way to low. I realize we have 6 vendors but if I want to place one onmost habitable planets thats not much stock to sell.


Secondly. it's my understanding that some of us are unhappy with the Artisan vendor. While I do think that the Artisan vendor should be limited I think that we should have some deference for the business skill tree. It really doesn't offer much until you get the vendor. You cannot convince me that the business skill tree is a threat to the merchant profession. Merchants have all the advantages here.


Will vendors that belong to people that have dropped their skills be disappearing? It's my belief that if you get the benefits of the skill you should have to keep the skill.


Why dont they implement a game function that removes an unstocked vendor from the global map?


What would be the problem with providing people with merchant skills more slots on the bazaar?

Supposedly, in P9, they are introducing code to remove un-stocked vendors from the Planetary Map.


I agree there should be a single Artisan vendor, and I believe it should be at IV. For the first 3 boxes, I think they should get an increasing number of Bazaar slots, and some kind of bazaar perk. The cap on the Artisan vendor should be quite low, though. 150 would be a pretty good number, IMHO.
