I've got a 3p0 barker droid and have used it several times with my master merchant character. My issue is that it always stores after a varing period of time. Some times it's as short as 10 minutes, other times it can be an hour. This doesn't seem to be due to lack of power.

Dear Flantz,
I have tried to work out why this happens, originally I thought it was to do with you moving to a different server zone. I have travelled to different cities on the same planet, different planets, walked away for over 2000m and I still can't get my droid to vanish. Other times I can be standing right next to it and "poof", its gone. A lot of people are complaining about this issue at the moment, it is especially horrible when they vanish mid-battle. Hope it is resolved soon.
Kindest regards,
Karlie.

lol, I can see the battle one now. Whole group is dead, and doc in the group gets incapped. He does a /requestStim on his trusty stimpack droid and 2m from him, his droid vanishes... then he gets DB'd.

Ibelieve there may be a work-around.
I was having my barker store everytimeI left to go to my house N of Coronet. I found out it was storing once I crossed a server boundry. This would be continuous too, always repeatable.
Two days ago,I tried an experiment. I left my datapad open to check the droid's status at the exact time I crossed the server boundry. Low and behold, The droid stayed out, barking as he normally would. If you want to keep it out for as long as possible, I would try leaving your datapad out when you go galivanting around the world.

I think it's just the same bug that happens to all pets, it's not specific to those droids.

the store problem makes them worthless, better just to stand there and spam, and I hate having to spam...I have sunk so low as to have to spam while at work....oh the humanity.
