Thread: Why the vender nerf

I logged on and found out in test center there getting reading to nerf anyone who has a vender.

Not only will this cause ones to drop there professions,

we will have less time to hunt for the supplies we need to make the items for the venders.

Our prices will go sky high and know one will buy.

or we will close our doors.

The went nerf crazy on many professions

dancers will no longer be able to afk so no more mind buffs or healing bf unless you want to pay through the nose.

a lot of aits will be deleated.

i know mine will.

why why keep a alt you set up to heal or doctor and mind heal. that you cant afk.

why do they keep breaking whats fun in the game ?

why dont they fix the broken stuff?

and leave what very little in the game thats left alone.

please guys do not nerf the venders or macros.

This has been broken since day 1, Yes the limits are a bit extreme, but thank god the devs finally are going to get rid of people's vendors that have no artisan skills whatsoever.

thats fine take the vendors away from the people without the skills to drop them, but why hurt all of us who actually sell items, im not master merchant and this will hurt me, greatly and its a shame to see that a master architect with no merchant skills is supporting this idea since it is us architects that are going to be one of the crafting proffesions that will suffer the most

- Don't you dare start that entertainer stuff. AFKers deserve to die. All the people who did the professions the real way. Entertainer was meant to be a healing and buffing class through interaction with the community. AFKers and Macro nerf was always needed.

- The thing is, this is the way it was supposed to be. This vender problem was from the word go, broken. They never intended it to be like this. They never intended super resist armour. They never intended super buffs, they never intended musician buff bots. You've just become so dependent on the things you have now, you're blind to the fix.

- This is not a nerf. This is a fix. It was never supposed to be like this. "Why don't they fix the broken stuff?" - they are.

I have merchant skills, right now 3030, had to drop some of my swordsman to get there, believe me i was not too happy, but if this is what it takes to fix the profession, then i'm all for it. (once again, i completly agree that the limits are way way too low, and have faith in the devs that they will adjust these before they go live with this).

Doh, so dancers are useless? We should all be replaced by bots, so you don't have to pay for a heal or a buff? And you wonder why there are not many of us master dancers left? Do you expect a Doc to buff you for free to? No.. then why expect a dancer?


I have kept part of my merchant, and I mostly sell swoops, so this wont effect me like it does some others, but the limit is way to low for most merchants.

well what will happen is the few who are master will raise prices so high ones will not be able to aford to shop.

why because we dont have the extras skill points to be a master and hunt for supplies.

i am a doctor and i have to have meat which means scout,

i have to kill the creatures which means a area in fighting strong enough so i can kill if agroed and not die.

i have to have serveying skills to drop harvesters once i locate th resources i need.

and merchant well first box so i can have my vender.

I do not charge high prices like most doctors do. but i will have to just to cover the cost of pasying someone a astronomical amout for meat and things i need.


so if meat is 25cpu and have to buy everything else most docs will be charging a lot more then the 8 to 15 k there charging now for buffs.

and those stems you buy on venders for 25k a crate will be several hundred k a crate.

this is the point im trying to make here.

it will distroy what little economy we have now,


brandy another example

chef need be and trim plus there food supplies for brandy.

the be will charge a lot more because he cant offer as much on vender or if he buys supplies he will pay higher prices.the tailor will charge higher because her supplies are higher

the chef has no hunting skills so he has to buy most of his items if he can find a hunter.


so what we now pay 150k to 500k a crate will be close to a mill.

who has the time to run that many missions to buy the brandy needed to use.

Why must everybody have the best 12 pointed equipment in the game???? When you say the master will raise prices, that will open up a window for mom and pop crafters to sell there product at a decent price.


The economy will handle itself, If this goes though, and i doubt it will, there will be a period of flux and then the economy will right itself.

No, people who have multiple accounts don't win unless they choose to put all their accounts into merchant.. More likely, there will just be a lot of people with multiple accounts quitting the game.
