Thread: My take on this whole thing (Revamp Idea)

Hey guys feel free to flame me if youve all read this before and my idea sux :-)
First off Im one of the guys that are going to do the Get Merchant and drop it again thing. Even if Im not happy about it :-( I cant afford an alt and I want to get some action..
My proposal is to wait with the nerf and do a Merchant remake
I think it should be possible for Merchants to hire out vendors (Taxation or fixed fee)
For this to be viable it would be necessary to do a couple of changes.
First off you have to give master Merchants more vendors so they have something to hire out as six won't cut it.
Second make it possible to delegate admin to others so they can put put things on the vendors so the Merchants wont be bugged down by requests to stock
This way the Merchants will be making money the crafters wont have to go merchant and drop it again.
I was sure I had more but right now I cant remember
By the way I dont like the limits but I like the inactive/empty vendor stuff (maybe a bit longer deadlines for the people who take longer then 14 days to go on holiday :-)
Id be happy to rent a vendor of I could control it and wouldnt have to wait for some merchant to put my stuff on it..

good idea i like it. but it has far too much common sense to be taken seriusly by SOE.

Now...you know that's not true. The Devs just don't read in topics they don't post, and if they do it seems to goin one ear and out the other becauseI don't believe that I've ever seen a good idea posted on the forums make it to the game.So many good ideas go wasted on these forums... There needs to be a pyramid system...CSR's are assigned to forums, read topics, pass forward the good ones, and Devs consider them rather than letting us throw our good ideas at a brick wall.
