Does anyone how do u write vertically on house/shop signs? I can't figure it out. By this i mean having several lines of text on a house or shops name.

You need to use an editor to copy and paste. I use Windows Notepad. I type out my desired text complete with colour codes and line breaks:
\#90EE90-*-*-*-\#.
\#FF4500Wild Side Armor\#.
\#DA70D6By Tess\#.
\#90EE90-*-*-*-\#.
This gives me a sign which is 4 lines: the top and bottom lines a soft green decoration, second line is orangish, 3rd line is lavendar.
Then, copy the text and paste it into the "Set Name" field.
You cannot edit a multi-line directly in the "set name" box.
The colour codes are standard HTML hex codes for colours. The colours numbers are in pairs: first pair is red, 2nd is green, and 3rd is blue. ffffff is white, 000000 is black, 00ff00 is bright green.
\# is the code to start the colour (and it counts the next 6 characters as part of the code. \#. resets the colour to the default. I always do this at the end of where I have a colour and especially on bags.
You can use the colour codes on bags and it makes easier to see who bought a custom order (put the name in colour and be sure to set the colour back to default. You will have a quick and easy name to see in your email).

You can also use the in-game /notepad and you'll be able to see the colors as you set them.
However it makes selecting the text a little tricky because the color codes become invisible.
Don't forget to bind the cut/copy/paste keys because they're not set by default.

I used shift-control-c for copy and shift-control-p for paste. I figured I would never remember it otherwise.
