Thread: Has anyone ever ran a shop for another player? As a merchant, what did you charge?

I am a Master Merchant and have been offered to run a shop for a local Weaponsmith.
He wants me to place 3 Vendors and register them with the planetary map.
I will also be stocking and pricing items on the vendors. Basically running the entire shop for him. It is not a gigantic shop, but all three vendors have substantial numbers of items on them.
He has offered to pay me a percent of his item sales, but as of yet we have not agreed on what that percent should be. What do you other merchants think is fair? 10%? More, less?

I did that same thing (on about the same scale) for 10%. I would probably charge 15% not because it was a great deal of work and the weaponsmith I worked with was extremely particular about how the shop was operated.
