Thread: did someone exploit my vendor?

I logged on today and found my entire stock in my stockroom.
all the items had the name restored item on as the name..
so in order to get the items back to showing thier name i had to bring each one to my invetory...
I also noticed that my invetory did have some meat that i hadnt seen before
and one item that was offered to my vendor went to my stockroom..
what happened???
is this and know bug or did someone exploit my vendors to piss me off???

heya,
that sounds just plain weird. only way i know of to get 'restored item' as an item name, is to attempt to retreive it and have a full inventory (hey, at least it is no longer just deleted). i often attempt to retreive 3 or 4 items above my packspace because i multi-select when retreiving, and the 3 or 4 items bounce back onto the vendor with the name like that.
since only the merchant can access the vendor in such a way... someone would have to log into your account, and manually remove all the items (assuming they did not just drop off naturally), as well as delete all of the email from removing the items, and then attempt to manually retreive everything to get them renamed like that. most likely not.
but... (and this is a big one)... if a csr was in your area dealing with someone elses issue (ie someone else had a vendor along the same zone border that poofed or whatnot), and found multiple deleted vendors... theoretically a csr could have replaced your vendor and items and it would be left as you found it. amazingly doubtful... but a tinytiny chance.
if noone else knows your account info... call it a bug. if someone else knows, or uses that computer... be very careful.

Yes. There are multiple reports of issues with vendors on Bloodfin and this squares with some other reports that we had last night .Something is definiltey amiss on Bloofdin with vendors. Please put in a /bug ticket on this and if you have lost any items place a CS ticket as well. I have already reported this to Tiggs and she is looking into the situation.

Deep Breaths. I informed Tiggs about it last night. She sent it over to the team and they are looking at it today. This is a major issue and I am sure they will have a fix very shortly for it.

This problem is no longer just a Bloodfin problem. Vendors on Kauri are deleteing items just placed for sale, items falling off are dissppearing. Bought items aren't being given to the buyer. Millions of credits worth of reasources and items are going into a blackhole here.

It's happening on Kauri as well. I've already had a complaint from one of my customers. Two types of vasarian brandy disappeared on himafter hepurchased them. (Some cheapbrandy andsome quality stuff.)
Also when I canceled twocrates of foodoff my vendor one of the items disappeared. I had cancelleda case of brandy and a case of canape. The brandy appeared in the stockroom, but the canape didn't. I gottwo auction unsuccessful messages, but the food just didn't turn up. I noticed a message in spatial stating "the item no longer exists".

I've been having this happen on Kettemoor, but to a much more limited extent than what I am hearing here. Mostly been affecting deeds, but the items seem completely normal until they are purchased, then they become invalid items and go away. Haven't yet had wholesale movement of items to the stockroom.

I wrote this same message in another thread, but it's worth repeating to get more attention drawn to it. I got problems on Kauri. I've had 3 customers today alone try to buy things. They pay the money, but then they are told "Could not retrieve item because it no longer exists" or "item no longer exists" or something to that extent. Someone "bought" 4 crates of thakitillo from my vendor today that I removed from my vendor 2 days ago. I will submit a bug on this, but I wanted to say I'm seeing problems over here also.

Radiant is confirmed I just looked at the status of my vendors and all of them says under items for sale are -1 oh oh!!!
"This market is unavailable"
Thats what my stupid vendor tells me...and I own that market lol
