I was wondering if anyone has tried a barker droid yet? I picked one up today, but before i put it in theed i wanted to see if anyone had used one and seen any results from it. I do like the fact that the time between /yells are already set to a bit more tasteful pause than moost of the spam you see out there. Any help would be appreciated

I use one sometimes. I agree that the delay is much more effective than the constant spam you find in C'net. I gotta do more tests, but I'm not sure about the droid yet. I dropped him last night, with 90% battery (around 9 PM EST). I got up this morning and checked on him (6 AM EST) and his battery was dead, so he wasn't barking anything.

If this is normal battery life, it's not worth it to me. Easier to just do it myself and not worry about the battery dying.

I was disappointed with it, the battery life is poor, and it autostores all too frequently. I gave up eventually, more hassle than it was worth.

Update:

Yep, these are worthless. I dropped him again at 11:15 with 100% battery, he was dead at 12:38.

Not worth the money.

try grouping with the droid and then tell him to stay. i tried it and mine didnt store till i went offline

Same here, so glad the battery problem was fixed a patch or two ago

They do seem to work well when they work though.

I don't group, just a "stay" works.

I have two droids and i love them both! The first time i used one i enabled it and entered the information into it. Then on my way back to the my town some1 was already in my shop buying some of my items. I was shocked. The only bad thing about them is you have to watch the battery power on them and they dont keep barking if you log off. But I still think they are a must if crafting items and selling them is your only income.
