.. isn't it supposed to be transfered from my inventory into the vendor? Because that's not what's happening.. It's for sale on the vendor but still in my inventory.

Actually, I've heard mention of this. The item should be transferred out of inventory to the vendor when placed for sale.

Have you been able to verify the 'validity' of the item still in your inventory? Meaning, can you put it down, trade it, use it or is it just a 'phantom' icon?

Same with the vendor item, can it be bought, used etc?

If both can be used it may be some sort of dupe bug. Have you waited past a server reset to see if one of the items disappears?

(I know on launch of vehicles, something happened that my speeder was duped and usable, so I traded it to a friend to try out - hey it was new and I was planning to trade my own speeder to him to use--which somehow caused the dupe in the first place) The speeder did disappear on 'storing' but was usable for a brief time... i imagine it would have disappeared on reboot anyway.

Check further into this and keep us posted. Be sure not to sell, trade, destroy the items in your inventory (they should be the phantom ones, but can't be sure) One set 'should' disappear by server reboot in any event.

Maybe somebody else can add to this?

This happened to me over the weekend. I logged out, then back in, and things seemed to be fine.

I also found out you can simply load up another vendor, and your inventory will be refreshed correctly.

this happens all the time to me(bwhahahah duper) j/k it is in your inventory but you cant do nothing with it and will soon disapere

Actually..the easy fix for this is to just click the Change View button on your inventory screen..and then click it back again..and it will refresh your inventory and fix it. Same is true in the selling window on the vendor. No need to log in and out.

Very much agreed that this is an annoying bug though and just seems to have started for me anyway..in the past couple of days. It seems to fix itself somewhat on server reset after downtime, but then about mid afternoon will be back again. So probably something to do with server load and simply not refreshing the inventory properly.

This has been happening since the last patch for me.

1) When I place a new vendor, until the server restart I can only advertise it on the planet map once. If I want to move it from clothes to equipment because I placed it wrong, I have to wait until the next day.

2) Things I sell in this new vendor doesn't dissapear until I switch screens in my backpack.

Everything works fine after the daily server restart though.

Yeah this also happens to me sometimes but rectify's itself when you refresh. The first time it happened i thought great, i can sell it again! But then an error popped up.

It is annoying though when your trying to put 10 or so items on the vendor and you have to keep checking which are real items and which are just shadow ones
