I initialized manually, but have yet to see the vendor actually be initialized.

How long does it take? thanks

should be instant, sometimes if you have a big bulky vendor too close to a wall (or actually in a wall) it won't initalize and you need to pick it up and put it out further away from the wall to work.

I've found that the following trick works for me though you may have to destroy your current vendor and put up a new one to do it.

1. Place vendor
2. BEFORE initialising, try to use the vendor in the normal way so you get the error saying it isn't initialised.
3. Using the radial menu, go to the option to initialise vendor (I tend to ensure my cursor stays on the blue at all times and I slide it as it were).
4. Use the vendor and it should now work correctly.

I always find that if I don't try to use the vendor first it just doesn't want to work. Good luck!
