Currently on Test Center, Merchant Tents are available to everyone. You don't even need Business III (of course without it you won't have a vendor in your tent, but you can still have the tent to decorate).

Isn't this one of the things the devs have told us was on the way to improve the attractiveness of the Merchant profession? One of our perks? How is giving it to everyone improving us?

I'm really starting to wonder if they have ever listened to a single thing we have said to them so far.

I have read here that one needs Eff 4 to pop a merchant tent. However, I am wondering if a merchant with eff 4 can pop one, then do a /transferstructure to a non-merchant...

Maybe it is just for testing purposes on TC, but right now anyone can drop a Merchant Tent. People without merchant are just decorating them with furniture.
