Ihave a Tailor vendor and a BE clothing vendor (they are set up in a PC mall).. As with most of you I'm sure, I have had problems in the past of other players buying custom orders (when it isn't theirs) Most will offer the stuff back when they see what it is.. (but have had plenty who do not and then I have to remake the whole order and explain to the customer how it was done but am having to remake it again)this is sooo aggrivating .. I spend alot of time making the stuff I do and don't have time to go running back to replace the items back on the vendor not to mention the angry customers I get because of this..

Simple solution? Yep! Allow merchants to set their structure to private with a vendor inside.. then add your custom order ppl to the Entry list.

What do ya'll think?

A better solution would be to give us the ability to reserve certain sales to specific people.

You could start selling backpacks with, say, a synth cloth in it for 58,000 credits with some random name on it. As long as someone with that name doesn't happen to come into your shop that should help.

The best way is to meet with your customers for custom orders directly but I understand that it is sometimes difficult to do. The other way to do it is to create a small house and put a high entry fee on it (currently only 50,000 but we have asked to make it higher). then put the names of your customers in the entry list and they will be able to enter without paying the fee and buy their items from the custom vendor.

Here is another trick.

Place a chancecube into the private order pack and name it something like "customer1 - offer this to the vendor for 50k"

Then increase the price of the private order by 50k. (ie, if it was a 10k order, now make is cost 60k)

When customer1 comes into your shop to get their order, they pay an extra 50k, but they instantly turn around and offer the chancecube onto your vendor for 50k. When you log back in you accept this offer and the private sale is complete.

However, when asshat customer buys customer1's privateorder you refuse to buy the chancecube back. So asshat is out 50k.

Of course you have to warn your customers about the temporary extra charge.

well then you won't be getting many customers lol Any normal customers who were just planning on browsing the vendors a bit won't be able to unless they pay the 50k

I think the plan was to have the custom orders in a different house/structure. If you do enough custom orders might be worthwhile. I just moved all my vendors from my house to a merchant tent just outside, so I could put 1 'custom order' vendor inside the house again if it came to that. Fortunately for me, I don't do custom order business.

cant u put a 50k entry fee on your house and then add people to the entry list? then they dont pay the entry fee and they get their order.
