Thread: question about keeping your own item on your vendor

hi i ran out of room so i have been puttuing like 50 item in back pack and putting it on my vendor and putting huge amount so know one will buy it has there been any proublems with this or have items disppeared is any thing going happen to them?

If you have really put 50 items into the backpack, then be very very careful about taking the backpack out, because you will need to have a nearly empty inventory to hold the backpack.

Individual items on a vendor have no problem whatsoever, I believe this is why the devs want to limit the amount you can put on vendors... lots of people have been doing it and it's bloating the database.


Backpacks I'm not so sure about, I'm still not really trusting backpacks on vendors. Haven't run into a problem yet, but I'm cautious.

I am currently testing backpacks on one of my vendors. I limit each pack to 19 items so I only need 20 open inventory spaces to retrieve it. I also ONLY put low value or easily replaced things there, not going to lose my 998 Cond copper to a vendor meltdown.



So far so good, been a week now.

Just a note,


One of the reasonsthe developers are going to implement an Item Cap on vendors is because people are using them as unlimited item storage containers.
