Thread: A Question to All Resource Merchants . . .
i actually do this for a resource merchant. he was in need of lots. so for him to use my lots he gave me all the harvesters.
my job is to find good resources and upkeep the maintenence on them. all this comes out of my pocket. but at the end of the resource shift, i take all the resources i got and put them on his vendor at a below cost price.
so in the end i actually do quite well making around 1-2 million credits per shift. he in turn uses the resources to build to make even more cash. so 1-2 million for him to pay me is nothing.
for grind resources i charge him 1cpu, for good quality 2cpu, for outstanding and excellent quality, 3cpu. it's lower than most that do this would charge, but after all he is my friend.
it also is a great way for me to fund my holo grinding.

Setting an agreed upon price for materials is probably the easiest way to handle this, just like the poster above me mentioned. I do the same things with several of my sub-contractors who don't have survey. I'll find a spot, and send them the wp. They'll go place on it, maintain the harvesters and sell me the entire output for an agreed upon price.
I don't make as much money as I would if I were just leasing the lots, but I save a ton of time...
