Coming from a Master Armorsmith/Mearchant/Artisan, this is the worst Idea I have ever seen....I sell ALL my armor in packs...so my customers can get a full suit and not worry about people buying up certain pieces too fast. If they make it where I cannot put my armor in packs and sell it this way, I and at least 10 others I know, some being some of the best AS on our server, will quit this game straight up.

Let me explain why. When I have my large armor sales, I make 300+(each suit contains 7-9 pieces)Suits or better...sometimes less sometimes more...Loading these on a vendor via packs still takes me 2-3 hours...If I was to load piece by piece, I would have to do 2-3 8 hour days just to load armor on my vendor, thats simply ridiculous and i'll quit, that simple. Being able to put objects in packs and storing them that way is the only thing that keeps me sane. If the devs are too damn lazy to fix their scripting so that items inside packs count against a vendors total items, then i'm not paying them. In the time it takes to make/load the armor.

You know its bad enough that so many items are still bugged and there are so many bugs in the game, that they are going to fix something that isn't broken. They should spend more time working on making items in a pack count against a vendors total number and fixing my PSG's rather than trying to find "tricks" around it.

Your making a TON of money SOE...Hire some more programmers plz?

I agree, as a Master Doc, using travel packs as a packaging tool I sell complete sets of enhance packs. Maintaining a stocked vendor of enhance packs is extremely challenging as it is. The original poster mentioned the increased time needed to load each item separately, which is a very valid point I agree with.

Furthermore,I don't want to have to account for daily variations in the the types of packs customers are buying, i.e., some hologrinder buying up all my Health packs would greatly inconvenience my regular customers who count on me to have ALL the packs available. I foresee this problem for armorsmiths as well, for example, all your chestplates being sold out and then having a hodgepodge of mismatched items.

Great efforts are made to supply my customers with sets of Enh-D's with exactly the same charges, power, duration and medicine use. Having to restock packs on an irregular basis will lead to lower quality of service as shifting resources lead to variations in product specifications from factory run to factory run.
