Thread: Buisness is declining?!?
It took me 27 days with lots of spam advertising at cornet starport to make master merchant. I made a couple of million doing it too. The problem is now that I am not spamming my buisness has declined 75%. I still have the same waresand I have reduced the prices and removed the door fee but since I am not AFK advertsining 14 hours a day I get almost no buisness. I hated doing the spam thing even though I had people thank me for it and the product I sold. Any suggestions?
I can appreciate your predicament. I cannot stand the spam advertising. As it's e-mail counterpart, people do it becuase it works.
The fact that your business is declining because you are no longer doing it seems to be a direct result of stopping.
Of course, I would MUCH rather there be a system that was more effective than spamming your wares at the local starports. Like... an entry for your items in the bazaar system. Would prompt a LOT more competition too.
.The email system works like a charm. But I found an even better technique.
Sell your wares for cheap or a decent price underpriced over the competitors on the bazaar in populated places like Coronet, Theed, Dantooine Mining Outpost.
Then send email ads to whoever buys your wares. That works like a charm!
I sell Seeker and Ankryd droids only. I sold a couple cheap Seeker and Ankryd droids on the bazaar, emailed everyone who bought from me. My vendor with a total of 1000 Seeker Droids and 600 Ankryd droids was sold out in 3 days!! I only did that once because I wasn't able to craft enough droids for the demand, but from here on it's all mouth-to-mouth advertising. People know I always have seeker and ankryd droids in stock, so I sell less lately, but it's very stable thanks to mouth-to-mouth advertising.
