Has anyone ever proposed this? What was the general response?

I don't so much mind going to player cities and other remote locations to buy items when I know the vendor will have what I'm looking for. But I hate trying to figure out who has the items I'm looking for.

It would be really nice if there was one place (kinda like internet shopping) to list all items available on all vendors, so I can comparison shop, buy the item, and then go pick it up, rather than visiting 20 different vendors or spamming the trade boards. Why not use the existing bazaar as a central repository. In addition to listing all items actually being sold on the bazaar, there could be a list of merchant vendors that you could browse. Or, better yet, the items on all the vendors could just be co-listed with the items on the bazaar.

Perhaps make vendor-bazaar linking a perk under the advertising tree of merchant?
