Thread: Has the Empty Vendor Purge Begun?

The city I live in has two merchant tents in front of the shuttleport. Tent #1 had 4 vendors in it, 3 of which had been empty 2 weeks or longer. Tent #2 had 2 vendors in it, 1 empty for more than 2 weeks. All the vendors were there this morning. But I just checked those tents a few minutes ago and each tent now has only 1 vendor. The empty/abandoned vendors are now gone.
I was delighted to see the long-term abandoned ones finally go poof. But it was spooky. The tents feel haunted now. 
I hope the 2 week death threats for "active" vendors didn't obliterate a lot of not empty vendorsduring the night as well.

I *think* it might have already begun. I have my vendors in a free vendor mall and there was this bulky terminal vendor right next to mine which has always been empty. It disappeared yesterday, probably due to the two-week thing.

Well, I just had two of my most stocked vendors disappear. They were absolutely not empty, and they definately had at least 25 days worth of maintenance left in them. They were also not *idle*, because they had been selling items at least every day or so.

Well I do not think other people using you vendors or buying and offering stuff to them counts as not abandoned. I do not think anyone of us know for sure, but it looks like the vendor owner have to use the vendor in some way (browsing it is not enough).

It has begun.
I noticed on Radiant earlier that I visited the town mall. Which half the vendors were no longer in use....folks that had left the game or something. Others had been nice and put up Out of Order signs in front of them to help out buyers. All the empty vendors are gone.
Vaelorn......fill out a /bug report. Don't worry about a search or a ticket. Explian the bug and what happened. Hopefully they will restore everything. I was afraid stuff like that would happen.

I dunno, this is all screwy, I've just been fiddling around with different scenarios, to test the system, before operating Merchant fully. One of of my chars who has enough skills for the right amount of vendors, and have not been touched (due to 50k entrance fee), were deleted. My other char who has lost his merchant skills and does not have enough skillls for any vendors, and with my merchant char checked them out regualarly, they're still alive and kicking - Something not right there. My exploiting char still has his vendors, my legit merchant char has lost his vendors!

I did a /bug report. I will never again bother with the currentin-game CSR report tool. Forcing people to wait on a search, that may or may not come up with anything at all, and has crashed my game in the past, is unacceptable to me, and I will not put up with it ever again.
