Thread: Need Help with Text and Signs

i have seen some tents and guild halls where the name is seperated into a few rows, i would like to do the same for my merchant tent for example i would like it to say:
ANGI'S SUPERSTORE
Armor, Weapons, Clothing, and more!
with two rows instead of being 1 long row like:
ANGI'S SUPERSTORE Armor, Weapons, Clothing, and more!
anyone know the codes to do this?

Open your ingame notepad using /notepad, type it in there, copy and paste this as your sign name on the structure terminal to "set name".
If you ahven't already go into control/kepmap/chat, and set a key binding for copy/paste.

my copy and paste doesnt seem to work, i set the keymap for them and when i paste it i get WINDOWS CLIPBOARD WAS NULL! Any ideas as to what is wrong?

No idea, I use ctrl+shift+c for copy and ctrl+shift+v for paste. I get the error message you get when I relog/reboot and forget to copy something new. Try using the key bindings I use, instead of the default windows ctrl+c and ctrl+v.

The WINDOWS CLIPBOARD WAS NULL! message just means that there was nothing copied to paste. So, your paste key combo is working but your copy isn't. There are some areas in game you can't copy from, for example you can't copy from a recieved email, but if you click to forward it you can copy from the body of the email that is ready to be sent. In game notepad is usually fine to copy from, so if that's what you were using then its most likely your copy key combo that isn't working.
Like the previous poster, I use shift+ctrl+c and shift+ctrl+V.
If you're still having trouble with your copy, you can always alt tab out and copy from windows notepad, then alt tab back in and paste.

Ahhhhh excellent. I was trying to figure out how to get multiple lines in my sign last night. Thanks for the info and thatnks for asking the original question.
