This just started happening on one of my vendors a few days ago. I have sufficient skill points assigned to have the vendor, and have the number of items that exist on the vendor. I had just put a few dozen items on the vendor, and then realized the next day that I needed to take them off. They were backpacks that I had been using for sorting items in my inventory, and they now all said EMPTY on them. So I was withdrawing them in order to change the name back to their original names. I pulled four of them into the stockroom, and was retrieving them, one by one, when I noticed that they weren't appearing in my inventory. My inventory was only about half full, and the backpacks were all empty, so that didn't make sense. Then I noticed that I was getting a message with each one, that said the item was not valid, and no longer exists. I continued through all four backpacks, and each of them gave me the same message. I sent in a report on it.
This morning, I logged in and tried retrieving another four backpacks. Had same thing happen, same message, no backpacks in my inventory.
So I tried retrieving a harvester that was on the vendor. Same thing, invalid item, no longer exists. No harvester. I documented all of my retrieval efforts on my trouble ticket.
This is a vendor that has been in place for months now, fully paid up on maintenance, is accessed at least every two days.
Anyone else having something like this happen?

Just an update about this. I've been trying to get any help at all with this, and so far just have profound silence. So I took one of my other accounts, andbought an item off of the vendor with that character. It was a heavyFlora harvester, and disappeared as soon as I tried to buy it, with the same message about it being an invalid item. I turned in a ticket, and logged in the next day to find an answer to my ticket. Was told that myflora harvester had been replaced, and the new one was in my inventory. So I look in my inventory, and there is a deed. I examined it, and found that they had replacedmy BER 13 HEAVYFlora Harvester witha BER2 PERSONALflora harvester.
This is a joke, right?
Sony,it is hard to find a work-around when you are heavily involved in resource gathering, and your ability to gather resources goes away.

I have an outstanding issue with customer service and they have not responded to mine either. After about 5 days and 4 open tickets i have sent an email to Sony itself about it.

A further update. A CSR went in, using the account that owns the vendor, and put everything over in the storeroom. Then I was sent an email, telling me what he had done, and that I could now go in and either relist items or retrieve them. So I went on, went to storeroom, highlighted one of my heavy harvester deeds, and tried to relist it. It poofed, invalid item. I highlighted another of my deeds, tried to retrieve it. It poofed, invalid item.
I have sent him back an email, telling him that I was in despair, and that he was my only hope.
I'll keep you all updated on this.
Considering that I was following the established method of moving items around, this is rather scary. I know some people are trying to transfer structures right now, and being forced to move items to new vendors, and then delete old vendors. It appears that there could be a problem with doing that, probably involving server boundaries and messy things like that. I would advise anyone that is going to be moving all of their items to a new vendor to do it very slowly. Perhaps remove some items from the old vendor, keep them in your inventory through a server reset, and then place them on the new vendor. I really don't think I am going to get any of my heavy harvesters back, and that is a stiff price to pay for the privilege of playing this game.

55 heavy harvesters
1 merchant tent
2 vehicles
2 factories
bunch of miscellaneous resources and crates of things
I got tired of waiting. Everything had been thrown into the storeroom by a CSR, who had "recovered" everything, and then pulled a couple of items off successfully. When I started pulling things off, or relisting them, they started disappearing again. I added to my ticket, I emailed the CSR, but got no answer. I was able to recover about 6 fusion reactors and some resources. The list above is what I LOST, not including the maintenance and power that was on all of those harvesters (flora, gas, chem, fusion, water, and mineral).
I'm depressed, and angry, and disappointed. I played by the rules, I always had the skill points for the vendors that I used. And now I don't even know if my legal vendors are going to just disappear because of the new rules about vendors. I feel like I'm being punished for something, but I don't even know what. I'm not playing a video game, I'm trapped inside of a Kafka novel.

An "update" on the continuing quest of LadyGrey for resolution of an extremely expensive problem with a vendor. As much of a surprise as this will be to everyone, Sony has still not answered any of my emails or tickets with any answer to my problem.
I am now contacting the people I have most admired in the game, preparing to give out all of my really good resources, do final factory runs for people, deciding how best to divide up some of the best resources, in preparation for cancelling all five of my accounts. My next posting will probably be my "goodbye" post. I will try to keep it amusing and entertaining.

Before you get to that point can you PM me with details about this (CSRs you've talked to tickets that are open etc? I can't promise that anything will happen but I will promise to try to get attention to this issue)

I will get some information together for you tonight, Doc. But, in reality, why should any player need help from outside of the CSR ticket format to resolve a problem? Your time on this forum is valuable toward the player base as a whole, and as much as I appreciate the help, it really should not be required.

I agree that it shouldn't be necessary. The problem should be resolved within the system but it hasn't been yet. Have you emailed [email protected]?

The ongoing soap opera, "How the Star Wars Turns"
Got an email from the CSR today. He said he took "screenshots" of things from my vendor, and "may" be able to replace some of them, but cannot verify what the maintenance and power were on the harvesters, so would be unable to reimburse me for that. Well, gee, I was able to go on, and before trying to retrieve those deeds, look at them and write down how much maintenance and power were on them. And my word, as an honest merchant, isn't good enough for Sony? It isn't enough that I haven't had use of these deeds for over a week, but now I am insulted by being told that I will not be reimbursed for what I carefully wrote down, prior to an in-game bug eating my harvesters? I would think that Sony, just to show good faith, and being truly sorry for interfering so much with my gameplay, would be more than happy to accept my word as to how much maintenance and power were on these deeds.
Stay tuned for more about this unfolding drama . . .

The CSR that I have exchanged email with is Chris Garlick, and the last email I received was dated 16 September. I sent an itemized list to him, of what I had lost from the vendor owned by one of my accounts, goes under the name of Frey'ja on Kettemoor Galaxy. Specified types of harvesters, maintenance and power on them, and some other miscellaneous buildings. It was a storage vendor, so the selling amount was irrelevent. I have five accounts, and use my merchant abilities to have normal selling vendors, and a few storage vendors for distributing resources, buildings, and goodsto the other accountsin various ways. I have always maintained the correct amount of skill points for the vendors that I have. Even after the restriction of items on vendors, I did not need to make any changes, as my item count fell within what was allowed under the new system. I try not to exploit, but will make use of anything and everything that is legitimate in the game, to further my ability to play the game.
I had a vendor disappear back in December, and it took nearly three months to get even partial reimbursement for what I lost then. I have now lost nearly my entire fleet of heavy harvesters. My game play consists mainly of doing prospecting for top-of-the-line resources, placing harvesters on them, and then making some cool stuff with those resources. No harvesters, no gameplay. Simple. I don't do combat, no interest in Jedi or Foce-Sensitivity. I don't even sell the resources, except in really small amounts to people that beg a lot first. It is just the way I play the game.
So, maybe this isn't worth pursuing. Maybe this is just the way it should end. To be honest, I have really gotten to the point where logging on to this game is more of a chore than a game. I'm almost afraid to look and see if other items have removed themselves from my vendors, or the vendors themselves have been removed, or one of my harvesters suddenly decided to change from having 25k maintenance to 0k maintenance, and is now burning up. So maybe this is a sign, a portent, that it is time to move on.

LadyGrey,
It was unclear to me from your last response if you have sent an email to [email protected] with a summary of the issue and a request for them to review the issue? If you haven't done this you might want to try it as my understanding is that this email queue is reviewed by supervisory personnel. (That is just my impression)
