Thread: How can I destroy my entire Vendor inventory?

My vendor is stocked with low level, and in many cases non-retrievable crap... Any way to erase it all? Last time I deleted my vendor to switch it to a new model, all the same non-retriveable items came back. If I want to accept the loss and trash it all, can it be done?

Not only that, but it seems a Random NPC vendor is the way to go...

I have had a ticket in on this for some time now. The answer I got was, "This is a known issue and we are working diligently to correct it. Thank you for your patience."

Unfortunately, they are not, in fact, "working on it diligently" at this time. Holo told us the merchant issues are not a high priority thing right now and no ETA is given.

Sorry if that sounds depressing, but if you're a merchant in any sense, it's best to get used to the fact that you are hosed for a while.

have you tried deleting all your vendors, so in effect there is no stockroom ??

Then when you place your first vendor again.. it MIGHT create a totally new stockroom ???

Gota be worth a try ????

Thanks for the heads up... I've got so many items in my vendor that I can only have a crafting station and 7 clothing displays in my small house. It's hampering my storage space as well, and my backpack / inventory is constantly maxed out.

I hope I can play tonight. I'd paid all my harvesters up for 4 days, but I think the power will run out after 2. If they list "Emergency Downtime" again, I'm going to have to take out my anger by killing my vendor. :-)

At the time I got hit with that bug, I had destroyed my *only* vendor, so there was effectively no stockroom in existance. I could still see the ghost items from the bazaar under "available items" listed as the location of my shop. So no, I fear destroying all vendors doesnt' do the trick.

I think I figured it out, though it's a bit extreme. I'll just redeed my house. There is no way it will save the items in it, so that should work out nicely and just cost me a bit of maintence... I'll try it once I get home from work. Anyway, wish me luck.

- Re-deeding your house will not work; I tried it. In fact, I tried it twice.

It seems to me that the House in effect has the stockroom from which all vendors inside can be supplied from and dump items to. This is cool because it would suck to have to remove all items from a vendor before upgrading to a new one, which apparently is what we need to do to avoid having merchandise get stuck... still with me?

The major question that needs answering right now is will the 'stuck' merchandise eventually be retrievable? We need to cut our losses asap so if anyone can get an idea of what the answer to this is, thank you!
