I have a bazaar question, and figured if anybody knew the answer it would be the merchants...

I have many similar items ... I would like them all to have the same tagline at the end of the description I enter.

How can I copy/paste into this field? I have gone so far as to set up kepmaps in the options screen. I cannot get copy/paste to work.

Amy I doning something wrong, or is this just another example of something insainly easy to impliment that we'll have to wait 18 months for?

Thanks, I will try those keys when I get home. I did not have a conflict error...so I'm not sure why mine aren't working.

Can you tell me what you mean by storing taglines in the macro are for items?

I believe he is talking about creating a macro that has your description text in it.

I.E.

Macro Named: CDEF Pistol

Macro Text: This CDEF pistol has been modified to do 30-62 points of Damage. Why waste your time on others when my cheap pistol will do much more damage.

or some such thing. You can then hit Ctl-A and copy the text and then paste it to the description of the item you are selling.

You can do it after mapping copy and paste keys in the keymap. (I know you said you did, so perhaps you are doing it wrong? Did it say it conflicted with another map?)

I made Ctrl-[into copy and Ctrl-] into Paste as this does not conflict with any other commands...

Highlight with mouse, Ctrl-[, move on to next item and Ctrl-]

P.S. You can store taglines in the Macro area for items you make and sell alot! This helps for all those long description items...
