Vendor maintenance is completely based on the cost of your items up for sale, just so you know. I wanted to share items in my house with some people so I got a vendor to work around the bug preventing other people from being able to pick up stuff in my house. I put up 23 items for 1 credit each. I put like 10 credits maintenance in and the status said it was good for like 9 hours. Wow, I'm thinking, this is cheap!

Then I make an object called "READ ME" and use it as a sign. I don't want anyone to actually buy it, so I make the price something like 999999. I put in like 1500 more credits to my vendor and check the status...

52 seconds.

The sound you just heard was me pooping myself.

Well I took out that one item and it completely changed the vendor maintenence back to cheap prices.

Crude, but accurate .

I think it's a good idea personally, as it will prevent people from using vendors as storage receptacles, and instead they will be used for their intended purpose.

Anyone else have vendors costing them no maintenance at all though? I checked my vendors before logging out to see what I needed to restock, and while I've still got about 18,000 credits of resources on them, it's saying no maintenance.

I *believe* the vendor maintenance being set at 1, was a bug (which has now been fixed)

However the fix only picks up vendors that have been created after the fix, so if your still using a vendor from before the maintenance will stay at 1 until you change the vendor for something else..

Also Vendors can still be used as storage..

I have a private house with a vendor which I put items in at 1 credit, The house is private, and if i want to share those items with anyone I just add them to the entry list. - My PA is using this "private" vendor for the distribution of goods throughout the PA FOC (armour, weapons, resources, clothes, buildings etc.) all priced at 1 credit..

Getting great XP from the traffic - and as you get XP for ahving an access fee on your house, Im going to slap a 1 credit entry fee on too...
