Thread: newbie still confused about merchant exp

ive read the guide, several posts and i stil dont understand how the vendor exp/hour works
so you get 150 exp / hour per vendor .... does this exp come even if your not online? do you have to be in your house to get this exp? or simply just online .... also... is there any way you can get merchant exp yourself? because i dont have an alt..

as far as I know Merchant xp is cap'd at 150xp but i think it is more like 150xp every 15min per vendor ( i could be off on this ) so if you have 4 vendors you will get 4x the xp overall than if you only had one ( if they are refreshed by customers and or yourself) basically if you log off and people visit your vendor you will get the merchant xp for them refreshing your vendor(s) you do not have to be in game to generate merch xp, it will update on your xp area when you log in...uhmm sure you can stand there and refresh your vendor every 15 min or so if you are crafting or are bored and want to increase your merch xp instead of waiting on potential customers to refresh your vendor(s) ...also if you add a 1 credit access fee to the structure ( building, merch tent) that people have to pay to walk in... you will also get merch xp for that as well
