Thread: How easy is it to master merchant?

I got a holocron and it told me to do merchant...... I dont really want to do it unless its really quick/easy to accomplish.
To all my merchant friends, be honest, is there any way to master the profession reallyquickly?

It's VERY easy. Read the Merchant Guide stickied above, then go up the management line first. Without too much hassle, you'll be master merchant in about 21 days. You can grind some other stuff while merchant xp stacks up for you.

Like the above post said, work formanagement 4 asap. once all 6 vendors are placed the xp will start stacking up.
Also, place a 1cr entry fee on the door, 50xp per person for that. What I have been doing to try and boost / speed up xpis to place 4 small houses next to eachother also, each with a 1cr entry fee on the door. Friends and Guild m8's have beeen passing thru them and getting me fast xp every 15mins. But saying that, it has taken me 13days to get to 3/4/3/4 so far

It's easy, but not quick. XP gain is tied to real time rather than in-game time.

oh, its fast, for me it is, i am on one hr a day, so it took me like4 months to master scout. and its the easiest i say, by far. you dont need to use macros. it saves up your xp over like 2-3 days, and u suddenly one day will have like 20k of xp that u didnt have the day before.
