After the 2nd day in a row of logging on and seeing no sales, I decided to check the planetary map. All three of my registered vendors were not showing up.

I went to the shop and checked the vendors. They all had at least 45 days of maintenance and the option to "unregister vendor"?!?!?

So I did unregister, then register, and checked all three to make sure they are now showing up.

Anybody know what happened here? This is on tarquinas, btw.

They were registered but when the server resets they all get kicked off the map. THey show up again when someone goes into the room and causes the vendor to load (it checks to see if it is on the map and registers itself if it isn't and is supposed to be)

You actually didn't have to re-register them. Just going in there would have put them back on the map. This is annoying and a bit of a catch 22 but it is the way it currently works. I've asked about fixing it but so far they don't have a solution for us on this.

Gotta disagree with you there. I checked for them on the map before and after I stepped in the shop. They were not there.

Not that I do a booming business, but it was just very unusualy to see NO sales e-mails for two days in a row. I always have at least one, even if it's just some Bounty Hunter Seeker droids. This was a bug of some sort.

It takes a minute or two for it to register. I've tested it many times over the months. It is possible it was really unregistered..but not likely.

Guess I can't rule it out as a possibility. Another reason it seems unlikely is that my shop is in a high-traffic area. It's as close to coronet as you can get, in the direction that most people head for missions. It's not uncommon for me to have 2-3 visitors stroll in to the shop while I'm there restocking vendors.

It is certainly possible something else is going on. It is true though that after a server reset the vendors are off the map until someone goes in there and they re-register themselves. If you are seeing it recurring that they aren't doing this we need to investigate.
