Thread: Idea or Petition: Private Vendors

Only way I have seen this done effectively is set up a small house or use the GH if you do not want anyone but guild members granted access, and basically put all guild members on entry list and then make the structure private, This way only those on entry list ( guild members) can enter the small building with the discounted guild only products on the vendor inside... hope this helps
Yea they changed it several months ago to fix an exploit with the entry time and 50k was what we were left with. I have asked them to raise it and got an answer that was open to changing it but no timeline.
Directed sales is a very important feature to have I think and part of the reason is the GCW. Being able to direct sales only to Rebels or Imperials would allow us to refuse service to one faction or the other. It would give us a little input into the war. Maybe we can get this feature added to the GCW revamp.

the guild:name on the entry list only works on a private structure. It does not let you slipthrough an entry fee. Only specific names on the entry list works for door fee exemptions. In a large guild you can see how this wouldn't be feasible, especially with the horrible structure interface.

My PA hall is public, and guild:name works fine on the entry list. None of the guild members are having a problem, not to my knowledge anyway. I will investigate it further.

You might want to move your vendors to a different structure. If these "thieves" already know you have guild vendors in the PA. Then they are very likely to eat the 50k entry fee and clean you out again. However, a 50k fee will definitly help keep people from probing around.

We've since implemented the 50k access fee, our guild was already on the entry list, but that is annoying because we often have visiting imperials that we like to entertain in the guild hall.
Speaking of GCW... /cityban DocSavag; mwahahahahah
