I've got 2 master merchants to provide the best service to my customers and this info would help for restocking purposes.

That would be nice. Also useful would be the simple ability to tell how many vendors you have placed so you know how many more are available w/out having to run a tally of all your vendors . And something that I think would be cool, though maybe not as useful: a total value of all listed merchendice per vendor.

Coudln't you hit show vendor for the entire galaxy .. and have it list all of your items .. then go to the last page and see what the number at the bottom is? hehe I would think that that would give you a total number without having to run around. *grin*

No, because that number shows packs as ONE item and doesn't count the items inside them.

If you have nothing in packs on any vendor, this would probably work.

Yep, I'm an AS and 90% of the items on my vendors are bagged, so I can't get a correct item count on my vendors, and checking the status on allvendors over 3 planets is not very convenient. I agree with Elyssa. We need a /vendorcount and a /vendoritemcount command.

Aren't total items on all vendors, and total number of vendors placed, both availble on the Skill window?

I'm at work and can't check now, but I am "nearly positive" the "total items amongst all vendors" is on the skills window (in the scrolling skills list). I'm only "thinking" the total number of vendors placed is also on the skills window.

But as I say, can't verfiy either until a while from now.

The only information on the skills window is the Maximum number of items and vendors that you may have - As a master merchant, my says 12 vendors and 4000 items. I didn't see any tallies for what you are actually using

Drat, you're right. Musta just been wishful thinking on my part. Hope there is some way to see it then.

Both seem like reasonable desires to me. I have no idea what the technical challenges might be though. Certainly worth bringing up

Slash commands would be most convenient, but at least a radial menu option on the building's terminal would be a start.

The information is already kept relevant SOMEWHERE since you can (and I have) receive "the too many items on your vendors" error message.

Seems like a quick, no brainer command, and would sincerely help.
