i doubt i will get a reply but life is full of risks so here goes.
I am in a buisness with 4 others in shipwright (biggest on chilastra) yet even though we are the biggest we still have our problems.
We are all mast5er merchants and cant keep track opn what we sell in eachothers venders and such.
Would it be possible if there was a vender option which allowed merchants onlt to give the option to other merchants to share the vender admin so that a proper buisness could be run?
opinions are needed please, also replys from CSR

Leads to exploiting and everyone having merchant skills without having a merchant skill. No, there is no option and even for good usage, I dont agree to it. Because there are more evil to use it than good.

There is a program called "The Merchant's Friend"
It's an out-of-game utility that will work wonders for managing your business.
I don't know how I got along without it.

Just use the "windows update" function and it will automatically download it from Microsoft and install it.

although its been a few days and i just noticed ur post, to resolve that problem they should simply stop it by... when someone tryed to drop novice merchant and are on admin to someones vender or have a vender placed they should not be allowed to drop novice merchant.
couldnt be simpler

No, I would disagree with you on that. If I'm paying 20 skill points just to dress a vendor, or tomake a silly droid bark, you should not get admin priviledges on another vendor for anything less than Master.
Having said that, I'm fundamentally opposed to this. Within the CURRENT context of Merchant profession skills it would simply lead to robo-merchant and we would have the exploitation of the vendor storage system all over again.

ive read loads of other posts about people wanting admin to other peoples venders as it would make is easier on buisnesses run by more than 1 person.
Devs can do pretty much anything with the game, they can easily sort out things which may cause a problem. A game is pretty much for entertainment but how can we have fun working together when we are force to work solo?
its simple really Devs make bugs so they can fix them, all bugs or exploits from it (if it ever happens) they would only be stopped soon after.

My husband and I run a business together and sharing admin would make things so convenient. I do see the evil that could happen so you'd have to be very careful who you choose to go into business with and share admin with.
Maybe the person on admin will have the ability to add items for sale,withdraw sales to stockroomand relist items at the last price they were listed at. But not be able to withdraw credits, merchandise and not be able to destroy the vendor. Just brainstorming.

there are loads of ideas that could go into this and alot of thinking but as much bad that could come from this as good alot of work could make this be a very good idea and make more people work together with more fun involved.

Heres my thoughts on this:
Controlling Exploitation
Require Novice Merchant
- If a player has Novice Merchant, they have the ability to place three vendors; therefore, they could use vendor item storage as an exploit regardless
Upon Surrender of Novice Merchant
- Player should be notified via dialog window that if they continue, they will lose admin rights to x vendors.
Two Seperate Types of Admin Priveleges
- One admin privelege available could allow only the browsing of items on a vendors storage room, the purchase and retrieval of offered items, and abilitiy to add items to the vendor for sale. This admin privelege would require no vendor slots.
NOTE: Players would not be able to use the vendor for storage because they could not retrieve the items they put up for sale in this case.
- Another admin privelege available would have the same features enabled as above, except now allow for full control of the vendor at the expense of one of their own vendor slots.
I think this is an excellent idea, especially comming from one of the premier merchants on our server!

I strongly support multiple vendor admin, because i have the same problem with my business partner. I think that it is a good idea, and should not be turned away just because some really smart people are going to get into business with someone who will double cross them. I think you should really know and trust your business partner, and that this option should be implemented. Also, to go along with this, i think there should be some way to open a joint bank account with whoever else is running a business. This would really require trust, but it would be a seriously helpful feature. Does anyone agree/disagree?
