*edit* hmm...well...lets say for one min that i dont see keymap in my options-interface (ingame)...i looked in options on the launchpad but didnt see it there either...any ideas?

It is in the ingame options interface, under controls I think. You have another button on the bottom of the window there for changing your keymap.

i have a sign with color and all but i cant seem to get the words to stack...it only reads like so
bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla
instead of
bla bla bla bla
bla bla
bla bla bla bla
anyone know how to make the words stack like ive seen in so many signs?

Set up the text in the in-game notepad the way you want it (with line breaks and color codes). Copy from there, and paste into the "sign text" box.
If you don't currently have a keymap set up for the copy/cut/paste commands:
1) Go to options -> interface -> Keymap
2) Scroll through the command listing (sorry, I'm not sure which category, you may have to look through "all") for "Chat Copy", "Chat Paste", and "Chat Cut". Map these to some key combination. Since ctrl-c, ctrl-v are already used (for character sheet and planetary map), I use ctrl-alt-c for copy and ctlr-alt-v for paste.
3) Hit done on the options screens, and you can now use the key combos you set to copy/paste from the chat text entry box, notepad, email (although only in a new message or reply), and any text box in-game.

Chat Edit Copy, * * Paste and * * Cut are under the Chat tab in the keymaping window. THey are right about halfway down. Yes the keymap screen is from a button found at the bottom of the controls page.
